MySQL got the Readers' Choice Award from Linux Journal again

For the fourth year in a row, the MySQL database received the Linux Journal Readers' Choice Award in the "Favorite Database" category. The award was announced in the november issue of Linux Journal.

Over 6,500 people participated in the six weeks of on-line voting and MySQL beat the runner-up PostgreSQL by 2:1. Together, those two databases received almost 80% of the votes. Oracle came in as number three.
