Third-Party Vendors Announce New Products and Partnerships for MySQL and MySQL Network
MySQL Users Conference, SANTA CLARA, Calif. - MySQL AB today announced that industry support for the world's most popular open source database and the company's new subscription service, MySQL Network, continues to grow - as demonstrated by the many MySQL-related product and partnership announcements made by leading companies at the MySQL Users Conference this week.

Arkeia Corporation is announcing that it has installed its 500th MySQL plug-in. Arkeia's data protection software enables customers to reduce costs and increase profits by enhancing the inherent performance of the MySQL database. Arkeia is also announcing MySQL Network certification for its hot backup solutions. The company's MySQL hot backup plug-in is now certified for both Arkeia Network Backup and Arkeia Server Backup product lines.
EBM Software is launching version 2.0 of OLAP4All, the company's business intelligence software for small and medium-sized companies. OLAP4All version 2.0 includes an intuitive page and report designer through which a user can select from numerous visual components like charts, tables, text and image objects, to design custom reports and analysis pages.
Embarcadero Technologies is announcing that it offers the most comprehensive data lifecycle management solution for MySQL Network with the launch of the MySQL Network version of DBArtisan. Commercially available today, data professionals can model and generate MySQL Network databases and schemas with ER/Studio, as well as orchestrate complex ETL and migration tasks with DT/Studio. All MySQL Network jobs across the enterprise can be scheduled with Embarcadero Job Scheduler, and data professionals can proactively manage performance and stress testing with Extreme Test.
